“True love is hard to find” and here is WHY

Finding true love, the billion-dollar market. So much money and countless tactics went into haunting this vague-sounding thing. For many, even after living for over half a century, finding love is still their no.1 mission. (whether they admit it or not)

Lights, filters, alcohol, poses…all the nights of trying and swiping while handling other adulting responsibilities. The constant thoughts of how to make this work, how to make myself more attractive, what did I do wrong, why nobody wants me, when is my turn, this feeling sucks, what’s wrong with this world…have you ever wondered: why is this shit so damn tiring?

Of course, it’s tiring to put up a show 24/7, to walk around in a heavy costume. Of course, it’s tiring to suppress authentic expressions to meet the standard of attractiveness (imagine how much energy it takes to push a balloon under the water)

Of course, it’s draining to swing constantly from the sad little ‘leftover’ to the independent queen/king who needs no one. At the end of the day, non of those gives us peace and fulfillment.

If we are willing to notice, the friction is there to tell us something: those hustles are not LOVE.

LOVE is the inner essence of all being

LOVE is remembered NOT found

LOVE is eternal, thus, no beginning or end

LOVE is what WE ARE, NOT what we earn from others

LOVE is unconditional

I spent many years working hard to earn love, willingly jumping into drama, commitment and craving for fantasy, waiting for the magical moment of love walking through the door with all the characteristics I shortlisted. I was desperately seeking it externally because I THOUGHT: I don’t have it.

Most of us grew up learning conditional love through observations. Collecting evidence that love is outside of us and measurable through gifts, money, words, time, etc. Unknowingly formed the belief that love should be: “I am only loved when someone does x, y and z for me.”

“True love is hard to find” when we seek love outside of us…when we THINK we don’t have LOVE…

The truth is: We all radiate LOVE, we are all fulfilled by default. We can form meaningful relationships knowing LOVE is what we are, where LOVING humans experience each other’s authentic selves.

ONCE AGAIN:

LOVE is the inner essence of all being

LOVE is remembered NOT found

LOVE is eternal, thus, no beginning or end

LOVE is what WE ARE, NOT what we earn from others

LOVE is unconditional
